HYDERABAD: South Central Railway (SCR) recorded a 3-1 win over Shastri Club in the quarterfinals of the Susai Sr. memorial football tournament here on Sunday. The result: SCR 3 (Azeem, Jude Antony, Sridhar) bt Shastri Club 1 (Azeem). Nayanika triumphsNayanika Reddy defeated D. Mahitha Reddy 6-3, 6-4 to win the girls under-14 title in the Sun-Jay Tennis Academy AITA Talent Series tennis tournament at the ASCI Courts here. The organisers also presented a purse of Rs. 10,000 to veteran athlete V. Vijaya at the valedictory function as a special gesture. A.K. Khan, IPS, gave away the prizes. Other results (finals): Boys: U-14: Rohit Sarwate bt Jayant Jayaraman 6-4, 6-1. U-19: S.A. Wahab bt M. Sai Nikhil 7-5, 6-2. Uday winsB. Uday Kumar of Hyderabad won the sub-junior boys event in the inter-district aquathlon championship held at Hanuman Vyayamshala (Ramkote) here. The results: Sub-juniors: Girls: 1. Bella Savla (Hyd) 23.34, 2. G. Rishitha Reddy (Nzb), 3. S. Ruth Shyla (Hyd). Boys: 1. B. Uday Kumar (Hyd) 19.49, 2. Aleshay Goel (Hyd), 3. K. V. S. Nikhil (Nzb). Junior boys: 1. D.
