One killed in wall collapse

VISAKHAPATNAM: A labourer was killed and another injured in a wall collapse at Railway New Colony on Sunday afternoon. An old building was being demolished to construct a new one when a sidewall on the first floor collapsed. Ketti Srinu, 30, working on the wall opposite came under the rubble and died on the spot.

According to Four Town Circle Inspector M. Srinivasa Rao, another labourer, Natti Ammaji Rao, 35, was injured and rushed to a private hospital.

He is said to be out of danger. Srinu hailed from Srikakulam district but had been living here for the past one decade. The Fourth Town police booked a case.
