A slice of Navarasas in dance forms

It was by students of Presidency School

BANGALORE: Students of Presidency School at Nandini Layout here presented a show on the Navarasas at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.

The Bangalore City Police Commissioner, Shanakar Bidari, inaugurated the first session of the two-day programme.

The children depicted the Navarasas – shringara, hasya, karuna, raudram, veera, bhaya, adbhutha, bhibhatsa and shanta – through various dance forms.

There was a presentation on emotions, which was also depicted through dance.

Message

The programme concluded with a message on harmonious living.

Mr. Shankar Bidari spoke on the importance of imparting quality education to students and said that it prepared them to face global challenges.

Nissar Ahmed, chairman of Presidency Group of Institutions, principal J. Bhuvaneshwari and directors of the group were present on the occasion.
