CHENNAI: Cricket aficionado Balaji from Krishnagiri won a one-kg golden bat from private telecom service provider Aircel for winning a slogan contest conducted by it during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match.
Actor Suriya gave away the award at an event here on Saturday. At the award ceremony Aircel Operations Director (south), K.V.P.Bhaskar said such contests helped to build their brand image among users. The award-winning slogan by Balaji will be part of the media campaign of the company in the near future.
At the event, second and third prize winners were given away golden bats weighing 72 grams to 50 grams.
