Laparoscopic workshop inaugurated

HYDERABAD: A live laparoscopic workshop marking the 31st annual conference of Andhra Pradesh Association of Surgeons of India (APASICON) was inaugurated at Yashoda Hospital by its MD Dr. G.S. Rao on Sunday, a release said. While inaugurating, Dr. Rao said that the workshop would be beneficial for surgeons to update their surgical skills.

Advancement

The workshop was a part of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme for advancement of laparoscopic procedures and surgeries.

The CME is beneficial for all surgeons from peripheral and district area hospitals to update themselves by interacting with senior faculty members, release said.

Nearly 300 surgeons across the State and from other parts of the country participated in the workshop, informed workshop Convenor Dr. Laxman Sastry.
