Goodwill Club scores win
NEW DELHI: Goodwill Club fought back to post a 3-1 victory over Uttarakhand Club in a preliminary match of the Delhi Soccer Association ‘A’ division football league here on Sunday.
Vimal put Uttarakhand ahead in the first half, but Dived struck a brace and Manpreet scored once to turn the game in Goodwill’s favour.
In another match, Delhi Cantt. outplayed State Bank of India 4-0. Manpreet Singh and Bania netted two goals each.
Youngsters Club rode on Aseem Patra’s solitary goal to beat Friends United.
Ashoka Club held Golden Stars to a 1-1 draw in another encounter. Jitender of Golden Stars and Aakash of Ashoka scored the goals. — Sports Reporter
