dated October 27, 1958: Trained dogs

Two dogs, belonging to the army, are now being trained for guard duty by the Madras city police. Another couple of dogs are also being trained by the police on behalf of the Railway Protection Force. It is learnt that such dogs will also be trained on behalf of the Customs and the Air Force. The work of the police dogs in Madras has now attracted country-wide attention.
