CHENNAI: A total of 59 candidates who contested in the elections to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly held in May 2006 have been disqualified under Representation of the People Act, 1951, for failing to lodge accounts of election expenses, according to a notification from the Election Commission on Saturday. — Staff Reporter
