NEW DELHI: The Joint Forum of Medical Lab Technical Staff has made a representation to Union Health Minister A Ramadoss urging him to ensure that the ‘Paramedical and Physiotherapy Central Councils Bill, 2007’ can be passed and turned into an Act in the ongoing session of Parliament. The Forum is a representative body of all laboratory technical staff of medical and research laboratories, working in various hospitals, medical colleges and medical research laboratories in Delhi. The Bill was presented in the House after the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare submitted its report to Parliament with some recommendations. In a statement issued here, the Forum has said, that the representatives of the JFMLTS, had earlier submitted their suggestions and comments during the hearing before the Parliamentary Standing Committee.
