Woman killed in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 58-year-old woman was fatally knocked down by a car near Kovalam on the Kazhakuttom-Inchivila NH 47 bypass on Sunday around 12 noon. The deceased was identified as Thankamma, a resident of Thunduvila Veedu, Nedumon, Kovalam. She was declared dead on arrival at the casualty wing of the Medical College Hospital. — Staff Reporter
