DUJ to celebrate Diwali as evening of peace

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Union of Journalists will be celebrating Diwali as an evening of peace, harmony, poetry and song on Monday. Well known poets, journalists and writers will light candles of unity and render compositions befitting the occasion. The meeting is taking place against the backdrop of an atmosphere of intolerance and increasing attacks on the press. Some of the recent publications of the media centre will also be released in Hindi.
