Easy for Jain College
BANGALORE: Jain College scored a facile 3-1 win over Rangers HC in the State ‘C’ division hockey league at the KSHA stadium here on Friday.
Kevin Cariappa opened the account for Jain but Calvin neutralised the lead eight minutes later. However, strikes from Puneeth and Pradeep in quick succession after the change of ends gave Jain a comfortable win.
In another match, Naveen HC crushed BCYA 5-1 with Chandrashekar (3), Naveen Kumar and Vasanth Kumar doing the scoring. Dayan Bopaiah scored BCYA’s consolation goal. — Special Correspondent
