BANGALORE: Praneetha Pradeep of Bangalore SC and Santosh P. Shivanagi of Sports School Chandargi won the 100m in the under-14 girls’ and boys’ sections respectively as the spilled over events of the State junior athletics championship from the M.G. Stadium (Tumkur) were completed at the Sree Kanteerava stadium here. The heavy downpour had made it impossible for the organisers to complete the schedule at Tumkur on Wednesday. The results (winners only): Boys: Under-20: 200m: G. N. Bopanna (BSC) 21.9s; 400m: Sharath Kumar (DK) 59.1s; 3,000m steeplechase: Nanda Gopal (Arjun T&F) 9:58.2s. Under-18: 200m: K.M. Aiyappa (BSC) 22.6s; 2,000m steeplechase: H.S. Rakesh (Arjun T&F) 6:25.7s. Under-16: 200m: Chand Pasha (Bellary) 23.7s; 1,500m: Shettappa M. Nandi (Bagalkote) 4:18.6s. Under-14: 100m: Santosh P. Shivanagi (SS Chandargi) 11.9s; Long jump: Rafeeq H. Duddani (Bijapur) 4.75m. Girls: Under-18: 200m: Bharani C. Gowda (YSC) 26.4s.
