Cracker sales, safety measures

KOLAR: Deputy Commissioner H.R. Srinivas has instructed all the municipalities in the district to arrange for water tankers at cracker sales points as a precautionary measure. At a meeting, he ordered the cancellation of the licence of cracker dealers at Bangarpet, who had flouted norms regarding size of stalls. District Fire Brigade officer Vijaykumar, Environment officer Udaykumar and Deputy Superintendent of Police Rehman were present.
