BSNL facility

KOZHIKODE: The BSNL has introduced an optional facility for its mobile subscribers to avoid unsolicited telemarketing calls /messages.

The facility is being installed in view of the huge number of unsolicited telemarketing calls/SMS coming to mobile phones. Subscribers who want to avoid unwanted telemarketing calls can call 1909 or send SMS to ‘Start DND’ to 1909.

The facility comes free to customers, Public Relations Officer, Office of Principal General Manager Telecom, BSNL Kozhikode said in a release on Friday.
