Oktopals posts win

KOCHI: Renjith and Rahul took three wickets each as Oktopals CC, Thrissur, defeated host Maruti Homes TCC ‘C’ by three wickets and entered the pre-quarterfinals of the 58th Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Thursday.

The scores: Maruti Homes TCC ‘C’ 130 in 33.3 overs (Gokul 41) lost to Oktopals CC, Thrissur 131 for seven in 25.5 overs. — Principal Correspondent
