Vergheese and Sunil triumph

CHENNAI: Sri Vergheese and Sunil won the weekly pairs event at T. Nagar Social Club here with a score of 63 per cent playing North-South. Sathish and G. Srinivasan won from the East-West with a score of 60.74 per cent.

The results: North-South: 1. Sri Vergheese and Sunil, 2. K. Chandramouli and K.R. Venkatraman, 3. Boaz and James; East-West: 1. Satish and G. Srinivasan, 2. Sudhakar Babu and S. Krishnan, 3. V. Subba Rao and R.V.S. Manian.
