Hyderabad District won the AP School Games State-level (under-19) football championship for girls with a 3-1 win over Nizamabad in the final at Gymkhana Grounds here.

Tahera Sultana, Mushara Begum and Vinoda scored for the winner, while Kavitha reduced the margin.

Earlier in the semifinals, Hyderabad defeated Guntur 3-0, while Nizamabad put it across Khammam 3-1.

The 18th Inter-district triathlon championship for boys and girls (sub-juniors and juniors) will be held at the Hanuman Vyayamshala (Ram Koti) on October 26, according to M. Krishna, secretary of Triathlon Association of Andhra Pradesh.
