Historic

Heartiest congratulations to our scientists on the successful launch of Chandrayaan-1, the nation’s first moon spacecraft mission. October 22 will be etched in golden letters in the annals of Indian space research programme. The historic event is yet another feather in the ISRO’s cap. The ideal Deepavali gift has amply demonstrated to the world that our scientists are second to none and that the sky is indeed the limit.

B. Suresh Kumar,

By successfully launching India’s first unmanned moon mission, Chandrayaan-1, the ISRO scientists have made our country proud. Hopefully, India will send an astronaut to the Moon soon. Hearty congratulations to all those who made Chandrayaan-1 a success!

R. Krishnan,

Malakoff A very proud moment for all Indians. As a boy, I listened to reports on the radio of nations congratulating Americans for landing on the Moon in 1969. Today, I am overwhelmed by the achievement of our scientific community and happy to see and hear media reports of the international community congratulating India.

P.K. Jayanandan,

Kozhikode

The launch of Chandrayaan-1 has made every Indian proud. India joined a select band of nations on Wednesday. I am sure our space scientists will find new frontiers in the sphere of Chandrayaan-2 and mission to the Mars in future.

S. Gopalan,

Chennai
