FIVB-technical seminar begins
CHENNAI: A five-day FIVB-technical seminar on middle player got underway at the FIVB regional development centre here on Tuesday.
Jivko Jetchev of Bulgaria, a FIVB level III instructor is holding the seminar. Jetchev is also a member of the Coaching Commission of the World body. Jetchev spoke highly of the Regional Centre as a crucial link in the development of the sport in this part of the region in a short speech.
The seminar was inaugurated by M.R. Mohan, Member-Secretary, SDAT. Also present on the occasion were K. Murugan, Secretary-General, VFI and M.C. Sarangan, Deputy Commissioner of Police.
