Rohit cracks century

HYDERABAD: A century by Bhogaraju Rohit (139) helped Sai Satya record a convincing, 257-run win over Raju Cricket Club in the A-Division (two-day) league cricket championship match here on Tuesday.

The scores: A-Division (two-day) league: Continental 328 (Murali 48, K. Naveen Chandra 51, K, Shiva Prasad 75, Sk. Nazeer Ahmed four for 68, Shahed six for 60) bt Saleemnagar 246 for nine (Shaik Dadar 75, S.M. Zesshan 43, Jaffar Baakra 60, Saleem five for 30).

Sai Satya 377 (Bhogaraju Rohit 139, Ravi Teja 70, Gaveesh 40, Jason Benjamin 51, Abhinay four for 71) bt Raju CC 120.

Telangana 206 (N. Avinash Goud 102 not out, Faraaz Baig five for 41) lost to Brothers XI 207 for four (Md. Sajjad Ali 109 not out, Shiva Kumar four for 74).

A-Division (one-day): Young Masters 215 (Abbas Baig 48, B.G. Sathyapal four for 40) lost to Sultan Shahi 219 for four (R. Suhas 89, Sunil Singh 75 not out).
