Ravi stars for Tarnaka

HYDERABAD: Right-in Ravi scored all the goals to fashion Tarnaka FC’s impressive 4-0 win over Bolarum Sporting in the Susai Sr. memorial football tournament here on Monday.

Ravi struck the first goal in the 16th minute off a pass from Hanumanth to give Tarnaka a 1-0 lead at the break. In the second session, Ravi was on target three more times with Karthik providing him precise passes each time.

Jayant advances

J. Jayant scored an 8-5 win over M.M.K. Ramaneni in the first round in the boys’ under-12 category of the Sun-Jay Tennis Academy AITA Talent Series tennis tournament here.

St. Andrew’s triumphs

St. Andrew’s HS scored a 4-0 win over Zilla Parishad HS (Trimulgherry) in the final of the eighth Dr. John de Souza Trophy inter-schools football tournament here. Mukesh (2), Sankreeth and Nagarjuna were the scorers.

Former international John Victor gave away the prizes.

Big win

Friends United recorded a 5-0 win over All Star XI in the Greater Hyderabad football tournament here. In other matches Young Sporting beat Saidabad FC 2-0 and Cookie United beat Bhagpat 4-0.
