Ashwin stars for Hyderabad
VISAKHAPATNAM: Medium-pacer Ashwin Yadav bowled Hyderabad to a nine-run victory by removing the last three Sri Lanka ‘A’ batsmen of successive deliveries in a quadrangular tournament match at the ACA-VDCA stadium here on Monday.
The scores: Andhra 316 for four and 226 for nine in 40 overs (A.S.K. Varma 78, M. Suresh 72, Udit Patel four for 99) bt Karnataka 324 for four in 90 overs (Deepak Chowgule 116, Bharath Chipli 76, C.B. Karthik 55) and 90 for four in 40 overs.
