Indian boys enter semifinal

New Delhi: Indian spikers breezed into the semifinal of the Asian Youth Boys’ volleyball championship, defeating Chinese Taipei 3-2 in Colombo on Monday.

Indian boys came back strongly after losin g the first game 21-25 and clinched the next two games 25-22 and 25-17.

Chinese Taipei took the fourth game 17-25 but Indian spikers held their nerves to bag the fifth game 15-13 to wrap up the match. — PTI
