Chinese delegation meets Chief Minister Yeddyurappa

Seeking help: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa with members of the Chinese delegation that called on him in Bangalore on Monday.

Bangalore: A Chinese delegation called on Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa here on Monday and sought the IT sector’s help in building the software industry in that country.

The delegation, led by Yu Zhengsheng, member of Polit Bureau, Central Committee, and secretary of Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, invited the Chief Minister to China for discussing business proposals. The delegation discussed various initiatives, including IT hubs, being taken up in China. Mr. Yeddyurappa said he would consider a trip to China.
