Worker killed in accident at quarry

Thiruvananthapuram: A stone quarry worker was killed and another seriously injured when a chunk of loose granite fell on their head on the worksite at Naruvamoodu, near Pravachambalam, on Monday.

The police identified the deceased as Anil Kumar, 35, of Balaramapuram.

The injured person, Thankaraj, 30, has been admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital. Anil Kumar is survived by his wife Ajitha. — Staff Reporter
