Science expo

MADURAI: As part of its centenary celebrations, St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School here will organise a three-day science expo from October 22.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Rev. Fr. Vincent Amalraj, Headmaster and Correspondent, said that students from class VI to XII would be exhibiting 100 models based on themes from various subjects like physics, chemistry, biology computer science and social sciences. Prizes would be given at each level, from middle to higher secondary. O. Mahendran, Professor, Department of Physics, Saraswathi Narayan College, will inaugurate the expo and deliver a special address. Ponnambala Desigar of Kundrakudi Mutt and Collector S.S. Jawahar will participate in the valedictory function on Friday.
