Aditya done in by gearbox trouble

CHENNAI: Gearbox trouble put paid to Aditya Patel’s hopes of a good showing in the fifth round of the Formula BMW Pacific Championship in Shanghai this past weekend.

Aditya finished 10th in the first race and 13th in the second after starting 15th on the grid. He is now placed ninth overall and fourth in the rookie category.

The next race of the championship is scheduled at Macau. — Sports Reporter
