Rainfall in Karur

KARUR: Moderate to heavy rain continued to lash several parts of Karur district as a result of the depression and the onset of monsoon over the State. Chief amount of rainfall recorded (in mm) across various places in Karur district in the 24 hours ending 8.30 a.m. on Monday are as follows: Kadavur 73, Aravakurichi 63, Anaipalayam 53, Karur 41.20, K. Pareamathi 28.20, Panjapatti 20.80, Palaviduthi 18, Mylampatti 14 and Mayanur 4.20. The district registered a total of 315.40 mm rainfall during the period.
