Chamber plea on load shedding

Madurai: The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has urged the Chief Minister to curb peak hour load shedding (between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.) as it affected Deepavali season shopping. In a statement, its president S. Jeyabalan said that many shops in the State neither had any power back-up nor could the afford generators. — Staff Reporter
