Chennai: An executive meeting presided over by Olympian P. Krishnamurthy on Sunday decided to conduct the elections on November 23 for the Tamil Nadu Hockey Association. It is claimed that representatives from 19 districts, including the seven members from Chennai, attended the meeting. Secretary K. Jothikumaran said it was resolved to invite an observer from Tamil Nadu Olympic Association and the ad hoc committee, or whichever body is in control of the administration of hockey in the country at that point of time, for the November 23 meeting. The meeting requested SDAT to conduct the TNHA-SDAT league, and acceded to the request of Tiruvallur District HA to host senior inter-district tournament.
