India goes down to Iran

Chennai: India lost to Iran 20-25, 18-25, 26-24, 17-25 to finish third in Pool ‘B’ of the Asian youth volleyball championship (boys) at Colombo.

Iran took the top place in the pool followed by Japan and India. In Pool ‘A,’ China heads the table followed by Chinese Taipei.

India will take on Chinese Taipei in the next match and the winner will qualify for the semifinals.
