BSNL employees stir

BERHAMPUR: The members of the BSNL casual employees’ union are on week-long strike throughout the State. Their strike would continue till October 23. These casual workers allege non-payment of minimum wage prescribed by the government by this public sector unit. Apart from it the employees are also demanding basic amenities prescribed by the labour laws.
