Double for Abhishek and Amrita

KOLKATA: Abhishek Alla and Amrita Mukherjee bagged double crowns in the boys’ and girls’ sections of the Asian under-14 tennis series on Friday.

The results (finals): Boys: singles: Abhishek Alla bt Vishal Passi 6-3, 6-2; Doubles: Abhishek Alla & Nishchay Rawal bt Vishal Passi & Shaikh Abdullah 6-2, 6-3. Girls: singles: Amrita Mukherjee bt Simran Kaur Sethi 6-0, 6-4; Doubles: Amrita Mukherjee & C. Sai Samitha bt Rimpledeep Kaur & Bhawika Wadhwan 6-2, 5-7, 10-6.
