Divij, Gajjar in doubles final

NEW DELHI: Divij Sharan and Rohan Gajjar made the doubles final with a 6-1, 7-6(1) victory over Komlavi Loglo of Togo and Valentin Sanon of Ivory Coast in the $15,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament at Lagos, Nigeria.

In singles, Divij Sharan went down fighting 7-6(5), 7-6(12) to the second-seeded Boy Westerhof of the Netherlands in the pre-quarterfinals.

P.C. Vignesh and V.M. Ranjeet also lost in the pre-quarterfinals. Vignesh lost 7-6(5), 6-4 to Pavel Chekhov of Russia while Ranjeet fell 6-3, 6-1 to Jonathan Igbinovia of Nigeria.
