Deepavali special from Aavin

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation, which markets its products under the brand name Aavin, has launched a special milk sweet box for Deepavali.

Minister for Dairy Development U. Mathivanan inaugurated the sale at the Secretariat here on Thursday. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Secretary Leena Nair and Federation Managing Director Aburva Varma were present.

The 550gm sweet box is available at a nominal price of Rs.100 at Aavin parlours and Aavin dealers, according to a federation release. — Special Correspondent
