Jewels, cell phone stolen

TAMBARAM: Gold jewels weighing 34 sovereigns and a cell phone were stolen from a 52-year-old woman travelling in an Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus on ThursdayAccording to a complaint lodged with the Tambaram police, Radhamani, a resident of Ayyappa Nagar Main Road in Chitlapakkam, had gone to her daughter’s house in Vellore district to attend a function. Returning home, she boarded an MTC bus No. 66.

When she got down at the Tambaram Sanatorium, she noticed her bag cut open and the valuables missing
