Niharika shines

NEW DELHI: Niharika scored 35 points to help Sachdeva Public School to a 45-35 victory over host Oxford Senior Secondary School, in the senior girls’ section of the Hans Raj Prabhakar Memorial basketball tournament at the school courts in E-Block, Vikaspuri, here on Thursday.

The results: Senior boys: Montfort School 55 (Arman 20, Anmol 13) beat Fr. Agnel School 38 (Ankur 13).

Sachdeva Public School 48 (Anshul 17, Archit 16) beat Modern School, Barakhamba Road 32 (Nikhil 13).

Senior girls: Sachdeva Public School 45 (Niharika 35) beat Oxford School 35 (Kashish 19, Nivriti 12). Carmel Convent 31 (Palz 11) beat St. Michael’s School 5.

Under-13 boys: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 44 (Omansh 16, Surya 14) beat Sachdeva School 16. St. Xavier’s School 39 (Giwin 14) beat Bal Bharati School 12.

Under-13 girls: Oxford School 42 (Varsha 14, Latika 12) beat St. Xavier’s School 4.

Modern School, Barakhamba Road, 53 (Aastha 33) beat Bal Bharati School 2.
