KURNOOL: Minister for Finance K. Rosaiah inaugurated the nine-room complex built at Vasavi Choultry at Srisailam on Thursday. The rooms were constructed at a cost of Rs. 32 lakh with contributions from donors. An elevator was also inaugurated in this connection. Later, the Minister laid the foundation stone for weavers colony at Sundipenta where 3,252 houses were planned at a cost of Rs. 12 crore under Indiramma programme. The revenue department provided 18-acre land for the housing programme. Earlier, the Minister was received with full temple honours by Executive Officer Gopalakrishna Reddy at the temple.
