Party leaders ask youth to take part in the programme in large numbers and make it a success.

GUNTUR: Cine actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna will attend the ‘Yuva Garjana’ programme to be organised by the Telugu Desam Party in the city on November 5.

At a press conference here on Thursday, party leaders said that a rally would be taken out in the city on October 24 to announce the Yuva Garjana.

Asking youth to participate in the Yuva Garjana programme on a massive scale, they said the October 24 programme would be prelude to the mega event to the organised on the grounds of Patibandla Seetaramaiah High School in the city.

Party district president Prattipati Pulla Rao demanded immediate arrest of all the accused in the criminal cases lodged against Congress leaders with allegations of fertilizer misappropriation and improper stocking.

The leader also took strong exception to the State government handing over large extents of land for the Coastal Corridor project and wanted the immediate cancellation of allotment of 28,000 acres of land.

All youth welfare programmes had been stalled and only Congress workers were shown benefits during the past four years, said former Minister J.R. Pushparaj.
