BSNL commences 4-day mela at Sankarankoil

Special concessional rates for all telecom services

TIRUNELVELI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s Tirunelveli Telecom District commenced a 4-day ‘BSNL Mela’ at Sankarankoil Telephone Exchange on Thursday. G. Murugan, proprietor of Ganapathy Textiles, Sankarankoil, inaugurated the festival and issued the first SIM card to a customer in the presence of V. Raju, General Manager, BSNL, Tirunelveli telecom district, and other senior officers of the public sector telecom giant. All BSNL services including cell phone, landlines, wireless in local loop connections, etc., will be offered at special concessional rates. Cell connections under various schemes will be offered for Rs. 99 and landline / WLL connections for Rs. 100. In addition, those who get their connections during the festival will be eligible for prizes such as 2 gram gold coin, iron box and several other attractive prizes through lucky draw everyday during the mela, Mr. Raju said.
