KRISHNAGIRI: Essay, oratorical and poem competitions for school students will be held at the Krishnagiri Government Girls Higher Secondary School on Friday at 10 a.m. Two students can participate from each school.

They should bring letters from the head of the institution. First and second prize winners in each category will get Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively. The contest is sponsored by the Tamil Development Department of the State Government.
