Power cut not unique to State: Elangovan

ERODE: Union Minister of State for Textiles E.V.K.S. Elangovan has defended the power cut saying it was there in other states as well.
“Power cut is not unique to Tamil Nadu. It is also there in Congress-ruled Maharashtra, Left-ruled Kerala and West Bengal, and BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh,” he said participating in a State government function organised here on Tuesday to distribute revolving funds to self-help group members. Mr. Elangovan said that nuclear power was an answer to the power crises, as it would provide clean and cheap power.
