CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Tuesday ordered release of Rs.1 lakh each to the families of two students who died of overdose of malaria tables and snake bite.

Selvakumar of Poolangulam panchayat in Tirunelveli district took an overdos of malaria tablets while Mahalingam of Alathur village in Tiruvannamalai district died of snake bite.
