Continuing medical education programme

MADURAI: An one-day continuing medical education programme on neuro diseases — Neurocon 2008 — was held on Sunday at Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre. The theme of the CME was infections of brain and spinal cord and traumatic head injury. Wearing of helmets would reduce death rate due to head injury, it was opined. K. Srinivasan, Senior Consultant Neurologist, inaugurated the CME. V.G. Ramesh, Professor, Neuro Surgery, Madras Medical College, and Arjun Das, Senior Consultant Neurologist, Chennai, delivered lectures, said a press release from the hospital.
