Dasmunsi is “serious but stable”

NEW DELHI: The condition of Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi, who was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Monday morning after he suffered a heart attack, continues to be “serious but stable.”

“There is no big change in Mr. Dasmunsi’s condition,” AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr. D.K. Sharma said on Tuesday. “He is not out of danger. However, there has been a slight improvement in his cardiac status. His overall condition is serious but stable.” According to a bulletin released by the AIIMS, the Minister spent a comfortable night and did not require cardiac support.
