Pro-tour International cancelled

CHENNAI: The Pro-tour International (men and women) table tennis championships scheduled to be held in Indore from October 29 to November 2 has been cancelled due to insufficient number of entries.

“We have decided to cancel the tournament due to less number of entries,” said M.C. Chowhan, Secretary, Table Tennis Federation of India, on Tuesday.

Japan, South Africa, India and Malaysia are the countries, which have confirmed their participation while the rules state that at least six countries should take part in a pro-circuit.
