Manchester: India’s campaign in the World Open squash did not proceed beyond the first round with national champion Saurav Ghosal biting the dust against Shahier Razik of Canada, losing 12-10, 12-10, 11-4 win in 56 minutes.

Former national champion Ritwik Bhattacharya lost to Frenchman Mathieu Castagnet 11-5, 11-6, 9-11, 3-11, 11-5 in the qualifying finals. — PTI
