Yagam for Jagan’s success

GUNTUR: With the decks cleared for the political entry of industrialist and son of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, local Congress leaders invoked the gods for his success. Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Lella Appi Reddy performed a ‘Maha Sudarshana Rudra Yagam’ on Monday seeking divine blessing for Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy. This followed the mass rally by the district Youth Congress two weeks ago.

The political importance of the event could be gauged from the fact that important Congress leaders, including MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, MLC Srinivas, Mayor Mohana Sai Krishna, Tadikonda MLA D. Manikya Vara Prasad Rao, DCC president Singam Basavapunniah and former APIIC Chairman Ambati Rambabu were present.
