Waqar Younis accepts ECB offer

Karachi: Former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis has accepted an offer from the England and Wales Cricket Board to tour India with its academy team as a bowling consultant. “They asked me if I could accompany the academy team of young bowlers,” Waqar said in Toronto where he is commentating on the four-nation Twenty20 tournament.

“They felt that with my experience of sub-continent pitches and having played in India I would be able to play a part in developing their bowlers,” he said. — PTI
